Frequently Asked Questions
Sourced from Simple Icons, an actively maintained open-source project that tracks the official hex code each brand publishes in its own press kit or brand guidelines — not colors picked from a screenshot.
The hex codes are simple facts and freely usable. The logos themselves are third-party trademarks — using a brand color or logo does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, that company. Check each brand's own trademark guidelines before customer-facing use like marketing or advertising.
Sub-brands often deliberately share their parent's primary color per official guidelines — Google, Google Drive, and Google Play all use the same blue as their single canonical brand color, even though the full logotype uses more colors decoratively. This mirrors each brand's own published single-color guideline, not a data error.
