How All SVG Icons collects, uses, and protects your data, including details on cookies, analytics, and advertising.

Last updated: May 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how All SVG Icons (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit allsvgicons.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

1. Who we are

All SVG Icons is a free library of SVG icons and design tools operated as an independent project. Contact: [email protected]. See our About page for more.

2. Information we collect

We try to collect as little personal data as possible. The categories we may receive are:

  • Usage data — pages visited, referrer, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, OS, screen size, and interactions like clicks and downloads. Collected via analytics scripts described below.
  • Local data on your device — recently viewed icons, optimizer/sprite-maker inputs, and UI preferences are stored in your browser’s localStorage and never leave your device.
  • Contact information — only what you choose to send us by email (e.g. when you contact us or purchase a sponsor spot).
  • Payment data — when you sponsor the project, payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not see or store your card details.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. In regions that require it (EEA, UK, Switzerland), we ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

4. Third-party services

We use the following processors. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymized traffic analytics. Google Privacy Policy
  • PostHog — product analytics. PostHog Privacy Policy
  • Google AdSense (when enabled) — contextual and personalized advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
  • Dodo Payments — sponsor checkout. Dodo Payments Privacy Policy
  • Iconify / icon pack authors — we serve SVG previews via Iconify’s CDN; their server logs may receive your IP. See Iconify.
  • Hosting / CDN — the Site is delivered through a CDN that may log request metadata for security and reliability.

5. How we use information

We use the data described above to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve the Site and tools;
  • measure traffic and feature usage in aggregate;
  • detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security issues;
  • respond to your emails and requests;
  • (where applicable) serve and measure advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests — for essential analytics and security.
  • Consent — for non-essential analytics, personalized advertising, and similar cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time via our cookie banner or by clearing site data.
  • Contract / pre-contract — to process sponsor purchases.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights email [email protected].

8. Data retention

Analytics data is retained for the periods configured in Google Analytics and PostHog (typically up to 14 months). Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond. Sponsor records are retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law.

9. International transfers

Our processors (Google, PostHog, Dodo Payments) may transfer data outside your country, including to the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms.

10. Security

We use HTTPS across the Site and rely on reputable processors for data handling. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
