Free Asset License

This license covers the images we make ourselves and publish on Personified (our AI avatars) and Free Backgrounds. It does not cover icons: each icon pack keeps its own license, shown on its pack page.

It works like the photo licenses you already know from free stock sites: use the images for almost anything, for free, without asking. Two things need our written permission first.

1. What you can do

You can download, copy, modify and use the images for free, for any personal or commercial purpose, without asking us and without paying. That includes websites, apps, products, marketing, social posts, client projects, templates and print.

You may use an image inside a larger work you distribute (an app, a theme, a site template, a game, a document), as long as the image is part of that work and not offered as a standalone file for people to take and reuse.

2. What needs our written permission

Without written permission from us, you may not:

• Redistribute the files. Sell, license, share or give away the images as standalone files, as-is or with small changes, for example in a stock library, asset pack, download bundle or wallpaper app.
• Build a similar product. Use the images to create or populate an avatar library, background library, placeholder-image service, API or any product that competes with these pages.

To ask, email [email protected] with what you want to do. Once we agree in writing, you may redistribute on the terms we agree.

3. Avatars show people who do not exist

Every avatar is an AI-generated face. None of them is a real person. You may not use them to deceive people, including:

• fake reviews, testimonials, endorsements or customer quotes
• fake team members, staff pages or social media profiles presented as real people
• dating, scam or impersonation profiles
• content that suggests the person has a health condition, belief, orientation or past that someone could take as real

Using them as clear placeholders in mockups, demo data and design comps is exactly what they are for.

4. Credit

Credit is not required, but we appreciate it. If you want to credit us: Images from All SVG Icons.

5. Hotlinking

You may link to our image URLs while you prototype. For production, please download the files and serve them from your own host. We may rate-limit or move hotlinked files.

6. No warranty

The images are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any claim or damage that comes from your use of them. You are responsible for checking that your use is lawful where you publish.

7. About AI-generated images

We made these images with AI image tools (ChatGPT, Gemini and Seedream) from our own prompts, and we picked, edited and tagged each one. In some countries AI-generated images may have limited or no copyright protection. Whatever their status, these terms are the conditions for downloading and using the files from this site.

8. Changes

We may update this license. The version in force on the day you downloaded an image applies to that download. Questions: [email protected].
